This role will be onsite, in Cambridge, MA. Duration of the role will be approximately 4 months. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations for our clients in the life sciences sector. Your expertise will play a crucial role in supporting our mission to provide top-notch IT solutions. Responsibilities Manage and maintain server environments, ensuring high availability and performance. Implement and oversee virtualization technologies to optimize resource utilization. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline software deployment processes. Collaborate with DevOps teams to enhance system reliability and efficiency. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in system administration. Assist in the design and implementation of new systems and technologies. Requirements Proven experience as a Linux Administrator or similar role in an IT environment. Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows/Linux) and server management. Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems (e.g., Ubunu, CentOS, Red Hat). Experience with scripting languages (e.g. Bash, Python) for automation tasks. Familiarity with cloud services (e.g. AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies (e.g. VMware, KVM, ESXI). Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools is highly desirable. Solid understanding of T-SQL, APIs, and systems engineering principles. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
