Python PowerShell Shell Scripting Full Job Description Title:

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Linux Systems Administrator to join our infrastructure team. This individual will be responsible for the operational support, maintenance, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management of Linux-based systems across our data center environment.

Key Qualifications:

5+ years of Linux system administration experience with strong knowledge of VMware or Nutanix. Hands-on experience with container platforms and infrastructure automation tools. Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, Python) and configuration management. Strong understanding of Linux security, networking concepts, and enterprise IT environments.

Key Duties:

Maintain and support enterprise Linux systems (SUSE, RHEL, CentOS, BSD), including troubleshooting, patching, and upgrades. Lead containerization initiatives using Docker or OpenShift and collaborate on infrastructure design and implementation. Automate system tasks using Ansible (preferred), Puppet, or SaltStack, and develop scripts in Bash, PowerShell, or Python. Support virtualization environments (VMware/Nutanix), participate in on-call rotation, and provide guidance on capacity planning. #PEG1
