Akkodis is seeking a System Administrator for a Contract job with a client in Durham, NC(Hybrid). The ideal candidate excels in enterprise storage management, implementing optimized solutions and overseeing backup and replication across hybrid cloud environments.

Rate Range:

$45/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
System Administrator job responsibilities include:
Managing and maintaining enterprise storage systems including SAN, NAS, and software-defined storage.
Implementing and optimizing backup, replication, and disaster recovery solutions.
Monitoring system performance and ensuring high availability and reliability.
Administering and supporting hybrid cloud environments across on-prem and public platforms.
Performing regular updates, patches, and security audits to ensure system integrity.

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
8+ years’ experience in enterprise storage administration.
Proven expertise with SAN, NAS, and software-defined storage systems.
Experience with backup and replication technologies such as Veritas NetBackup, SnapMirror, and SRDF.
Proficiency in managing storage across hybrid cloud platforms including AWS (EC2, S3, EBS, FSx).
Familiarity with Cisco

MDS, EMC

VMAX/PowerMax, and Data Domain environments.
Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with VMware and enterprise data protection solutions.

Pay Details:

$45.00 to $60.00 per hour
