Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

+ Assist in day-to-day operations and maintenance of the organization’s network infrastructure. + Provide first-level support for network-related issues and troubleshooting connectivity problems for end-users. + Monitor network performance and identify potential issues. + Assist with installing, configuring, and maintaining network hardware and software. + Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. + Collaborate with senior network administrators on projects and initiatives. + Perform basic network diagnostics and escalate complex issues as needed. + Wireless AP installation, configuration, and coverage surveys. + UPS installation, configuration, and documentation. + Infrastructure Documentation + Inventory audits of equipment and network closets. Minimum Experience /

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 0-2 years of experience; or the equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.

Preferred Education Skills and Experience:

+ Familiarity with basic networking fundamentals, including

TCP /IP, DNS / DHCP

. + Demonstrated understanding of common network troubleshooting methodologies. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Proactive and eager approach to learning new technologies.
