Akkodis is seeking a System Administrator for a Contract job with a client in Charlotte, NC(Hybrid). Candidates must have experience in Kafka cluster management and Kubernetes.

Rate Range:

$53/hour to $68/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
System Administrator job responsibilities include:
Install, configure, and maintain Kafka clusters, including operating systems and related software.
Manage Kafka brokers, topics, partitions, retention policies, and access control.
Monitor cluster performance, availability, and health.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Kafka cluster performance, memory management, and security.
Deploy and manage Kafka containers using Kubernetes.
Configure and maintain Kubernetes clusters and scale Kafka deployments within Kubernetes.
Monitor the health and performance of the Kubernetes environment.

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in managing Kafka clusters and Kubernetes environments.
Proficiency in installing, configuring, and maintaining Kafka clusters, including managing brokers, topics, and partitions.
Experience in deploying and managing Kafka containers using Kubernetes, including scaling deployments and monitoring performance.

Pay Details:

$53.00 to $68.00 per hour
