Position Requirements:

Supervise and manage the daily activities of configuration andoperation of systems which may be mainframe, mini, or client/serverbased. Plan and monitor the optimizing of system operation andresource utilization and perform systems capacity analysis andplanning. Plan and monitor assistance to users in accessing and usingbusiness systems. Develop and maintain automation scripts and use configurationmanagement tools to streamline administration tasks. Manage virtualization platforms and ensure efficient resourceutilization. Design and implement advanced system security measures,including firewalls, SELinux, and secure SSH configurations. Create and maintain detailed system documentation, includingconfigurations, procedures, and change management logs. Commensurate experience and education. Perform the daily activities of configuration and operation ofsystems which may be mainframe, mini, or client/server based. Senior:

Bachelor’s or associate degree in Computer Science, InformationTechnology, Math, or related field or at a minimum ITCertification. Five (5) years’ experience is equivalent to two (2) years ofeducation.

Certification:

This is an IAT-I Level, or higher IAT- II levelcertification.

Minimum Qualifications:

Five (5) years of experience in current Linux, Windows, VMwareand SAS. Five (5) years of performing security remediation to systemswith vulnerabilities based on security scans. Two (2) years of experience in an Agile DevSecOps software andengineering environment and Methodologies. Two (2) years of experience with Kubernetes, Jira, Confluence,and Bitbucket or equivalent. Two (2) years of experience with managing, configuring,deploying, and troubleshooting web applications in IIS and Apacheweb servers. Two (2) years of experience with installing, configuring, andmaintenance of RHEL servers. Two (2) years of designing, building, implementing applicationservers to support business environment. Two (2) years of experience of server installation and upgradewith GOTS and COTS software. Must be able to obtain a favorable Tier 1 for unclassifiedsystems.
