Annually Cloud Systems Administrator SUMMARY:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage and maintain daily backups for customers in Acronis, Veeam, and / or Zerto
Support a combination of managed and unmanaged customers spread across multiple datacenters. Equipment may be customer owned and co-located, dedicated FirstLight owned and maintained, or shared FirstLight owned and maintained.
Install, patch or upgrade, troubleshoot, and repair FirstLight owned systems as required
Provide “hot hands” services upon customer request
Support customer virtual environments (VMware) up to and including the base operating systems, which may be Windows or Linux
Support managed firewalls – basic troubleshooting and MACD of Cisco and Fortinet equipment
Create and maintain customer documentation as required and/or appropriate.
Own the successful outcome and overall customer experience for each ticket
Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
Flexible work schedule required, may vary depending on needs of customer
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Participate in on-call rotation.

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, and SKILLS:

Must pass Background Check. Contingency for employment.
A successful candidate will have experience in two (2) or more of the technologies identified above, preferably in the same vendor stacks
Minimum of two (2) years relevant experience; or equivalent combination of related education and experience. Prior work in a technical support / help desk environment a plus.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
Vendor trainings and/or certifications in the identified product stacks preferred
