Duties Duties are as follows but or not limited to: Provides change management, program oversight, coordinion and leadership as part of the organizion’s efforts to maintain and expand upon its journey and commitment to high reliability. Communices informion to executive leadership for effective evaluion of program operions and milestones. Analyzes, extracts, summarizes, and identifies significant trends and issues. Forecasts and estimes program requirements and prepares programmic reports, justificions, charts, graphs, stistical, and narrive da, etc. for executive-level presentions and briefings. Works closely with the Systems Redesign Program. Manages all aspects of the HRO program and collabores directly with executive leadership, Medical Center services, the VISN and VHA on the development, implemention and sustainment of High Reliability processes and outcomes. Must be well versed in HRO principles and the values and mission of the Department of Veterans Affairs. Serves as a subject mter expert (SME) while working collaborively to advance the organizion’s goals and stregies as a High Reliability Organizion. Supports local efforts on systems redesign utilizion and training. Expected to successfully complete training in Lean Six Sigma / Systems Redesign methods during the first year of employment.

Work must have involved a close working relionship with facility managers and analysis and/or coordinion of administrive, clinical, or other service activities, and provided knowledge of the following: Missions, organizions, programs, and requirements of health care delivery systems; Regulions and standards of various regulory and credentialing groups; and Government-wide, agency, and facility systems and requirements in various administrive areas such as budget, personnel, and procurement. OR; Successful completion of an agency-sponsored on-the-job training program may be substituted for qualifying experience, provided it included a formal individualized training plan.
