This job is onsite at our Nashua, NHlocation (Limited travel to other BAE sites)Seeking an IT systemsadministrator to support BAE’s classified and unclassified labenvironments that use Windows and Linux networked systems, withexpertise in setting up and managing Microsoft Windows ActiveDirectory, Group Policy Management, SharePoint, and Exchangeservices. A successful candidate will be joining a team supportinginternal customers, designing, implementing and managing labinfrastructure to meet the customer requirements. In this role, youwill build, configure, administer and troubleshoot Windows (andLinux) servers and user workstation hardware and software; designand implement workgroup-scale networks; build and manageauthentication, file-share, and other collaboration servers tosupport groups of heterogeneous client systems. You will work withfacilities security staff to develop and apply hardening steps forsystems for classified use to NISPOM Chapter 8, JAFAN, and othercustomer standards. Document system configuration for new andexisting systems. Experience with centralized authenticationtechnologies such as LDAP and Active Directory domains insupporting (Windows/Linux) cross-platform clients is desirable. Youshould be customer service oriented, attentive to detail,self-motivated and work well in teams. Flexibility in approach tofinding solutions, the ability to understand and act on thecustomer needs and priorities, and learn new technologies quicklyare some of the qualities a successful candidate will have. Youwill also need to be willing to respond to occasional off-hoursoutages and take part in subsequent service restoration efforts.
You will need to be eligible to receive a security clearance within6 months of hire date, as necessary or have an active Secretclearance.
CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent) may be required to workin some of the customer labs, and preference will be given tocandidates who hold this certificate.
- Experience in enterpriselevel Windows Server operating environments, including WindowsActive Directory, Group Policy Management, SharePoint, Exchangeservices
- TCP/IP and Microsoft Networking concepts
- Windows andUnix/Linux interoperability services (e.g. centralizedauthentication technologies for cross-platform clients)
- Windowsshell scriptingRequired Education, Experience, & Skills Typically aBachelor’s Degree and 2+ years work experience or equivalentexperience and related certificatesPreferred Education, Experience,& Skills Must be able obtain Security + certification within 180days from hire.
Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range:
$77809
- $132275Please note: This range is based on our market paystructures.
However, individual salaries are determined by avariety of factors including, but not limited to: businessconsiderations, local market conditions, and internal equity, aswell as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, andexperience.
