We are seeking an experienced System Administrator Engineer to join our team. As a System Administrator Engineer, you will play a key role in replicating and deploying mainframe technologies to cloud-based infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mainframe systems administration and experience with cloud migration. #

Key Responsibilities:

• : Replicate and deploy mainframe technologies, including applications, data, and infrastructure, to cloud-based infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). 2.
• System Administration
• : Perform system administration tasks, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of operating systems, software, and hardware. 3.
• Cloud Infrastructure Management
• : Manage cloud infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, and networking. 4.
• Application Deployment
• : Deploy and configure applications on cloud-based infrastructure. 5.
• Data Migration
• : Migrate data from mainframe systems to cloud-based storage solutions. 6.
• Security and Compliance
• : Ensure security and compliance of cloud-based infrastructure and applications. 7.
• Troubleshooting
• : Troubleshoot technical issues related to mainframe to cloud migration. 8.
• Documentation
• : Maintain accurate documentation of migration processes, procedures, and results.

Requirements:

• Mainframe Experience
• : 7 years of experience with mainframe systems administration (e.g., z/OS, z/VM, z/VSE). 2.
• Cloud Experience
• : 2+ years of experience with cloud-based infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). 3.
• System Administration
• : Strong system administration skills, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of operating systems, software, and hardware. 4.
• Scripting and Automation
• : Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, SaltStack). 5.
• Security and Compliance
• : Knowledge of security and compliance best practices for cloud-based infrastructure and applications. 6.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
• : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
