We are currently seeking an IT Administrator to join our IT department in our Syracuse, NY office. This is an in-person position. Job duties will include, but are not limited to: Provide desktop, server, and network support (including, but not limited to administering and maintaining end user accounts, password resets/unlocks, and email setup and support). Provision new computers for employees. Respond to customer inquiries in a quick, courteous, and professional manner. Will collaborate with employees to quickly resolve any technical issue that interrupt their workflow. Ability to travel to remote office locations throughout the northeast. Assist with onboarding of new users. Resolve issues with associated workstation networking hardware and software products. Maintain and extend technical skills and knowledge in order to remain proficient in the role. Ensure adherence to relevant policy and procedures. Work with other IT Support team members to perform important tasks such as troubleshooting network connectivity, Audio/Visual (AV) equipment, and handling inventory. Perform other duties as requested. 2 or 4 year degree in Information Technology. 2-5+ years of relevant experience in supporting networks and/or providing technical support. Have an ability to adopt quickly. Very good problem solving and intuitive troubleshooting skills. A drive to assist customers and solve their technical problems. Familiar with ThinkPad laptops a plus. Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft 365 Management Console. Microsoft 365 Certifications would be ideal. Good understanding of Active Directory, DNS, Firewalls, DHCP and Windows 11. Strong written and excellent verbal communication skills. Ability to lift 50+ lbs. computer equipment. Valid driver’s license. Experience in supporting iOS and Android devices. CompTIA Certifications would be ideal.

Estimated Pay Range :

$30-35/hour. Actual compensation may vary based on related work experience, geographical location and market conditions, education/training, certifications, and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
