This is a full-time position whichwill require both planned and unexpected off-hours support inaddition to the regular workday. Days and hours of work are Mondaythrough Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional travel to otherof our facilities will be required. General Purpose This is astaff position within the IT Department that is responsible forgeneral system and computer operations, ensuring that system andnetwork performance meets the demands of our company, maintainingsystem and network security, and providing technical support to endusers as needed. Responsibilities include but are not limited tomonitoring network security and performance, updating systemsoftware and hardware, and maintaining physical / cloudinfrastructure. Although this position reports to the ITInfrastructure Manager, the position will also take directions fromother senior members of the IT staff as appropriate. EssentialDuties and Responsibilities The essential duties andresponsibilities of the IT Network Administrator position includebut are not limited to: Provide excellent service to our employeesDaily administration of the network and server environment.

Identifying and resolving any problems that arise with computernetworks and systems. Maintain existing software and hardware andupgrade any that have become obsolete. Monitor network performance,troubleshoot issues, and deploy solutions. Place service calls withthird party vendors as appropriate Maintaining documentation of ITinfrastructure and troubleshooting procedures. Perform generalsystem computer operations as required including but not limitedto: Daily mainframe backup tape rotation Maintaining ERP systemuser profiles Monitoring mainframe console messages Maintaininginventory levels of IT related supplies as appropriate Learn newtechnologies as the workload of the IT Department dictatesQualifications The essential qualifications for the IT NetworkAdministrator position include but are not limited to: Minimum 6years of work experience in a similar role Strong working knowledgeand understanding of computer and network systems, hardware andsoftware Outstanding working knowledge from an administration /technical perspective of the following: Computers/servers VMwareM365 Microsoft Active Directory / Entra ID Microsoft OperatingSystems and server software Network security and anti-virus toolsSolid technical understanding of the following: Network monitoringtools Wireless access point configuration and setup Networkcomponents (firewalls, switches, routers, etc.) Linux operatingsystem Exposure to an ERP system Outstanding problem solving andanalytical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsWillingness and desire to learn new technologies as the companies’technology infrastructure evolves over time
