Successful outcomes start and finish with eNGINE. eNGINE is seeking a Network Administrator to support our customer in the manufacturing and sustainability industry located in Pittsburgh. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing and securing both on-prem and cloud environments, with hands-on expertise in FortiGate firewalls, Cisco and Ubiquiti networking equipment, VLAN configuration, and Azure networking services. This role is key to maintaining the performance, reliability, and security of our network systems in a modern, hybrid IT environment.

What You’ll Do:

Manage and maintain FortiGate firewalls, Cisco switches/routers, and Ubiquiti/UniFi network devices Design and implement VLANs, routing protocols, and Layer 3 network segmentation Support Azure-based networking including VNets, NSGs, VPN Gateway, and ExpressRoute Monitor and optimize network performance using appropriate tools Configure and troubleshoot VPNs, IPS/IDS systems, and perimeter defenses Maintain secure, high-performance Wi-Fi access across the enterprise Contribute to incident response and root cause investigations Document all network topologies, configurations, and changes

What You Bring:

5+ years of experience in network administration or a similar role Proven experience with FortiGate firewalls and Cisco networking gear Deep understanding of VLANs, Layer 3 networking, routing, and segmentation Strong knowledge of network security (VPNs, IDS/IPS, access controls) Experience with Ubiquiti/UniFi networking for enterprise Wi-Fi Familiarity with Azure networking (VNets, NSGs, VPN Gateway, etc.) Nice to
