Senior Systems Engineer (Oracle/WebSphere/Linux)

Description:

Our client has an immediate need for a Senior Systems Engineer (Oracle/WebSphere/Linux) who is responsible for leading system upgrades, ensuring strong vulnerability management, and supporting the knowledge transfer of current work to maintain system continuity and drive operational excellence
Requirements
:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
6+ years of experience
Experience with Oracle
Experience with IBM WebSphere
Experience with Red Hat Linux
Experience with System Upgrades
Vulnerability Management experience Informatica ETL Knowledge is a plus

Responsibilities:

Conduct knowledge transfer sessions to onboard team members or transition system responsibilities
Plan, execute, and validate system upgrades across Oracle, WebSphere, and Linux environments
Perform vulnerability assessments and remediation in line with security best practices
Provide ongoing administration and support for Oracle databases and WebSphere Application Servers
Maintain and troubleshoot systems running on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
Collaborate with infrastructure, application development, and security teams to ensure system stability and compliance
Develop and maintain clear documentation for processes, configurations, upgrade activities, and vulnerability remediation efforts
