System Administrator Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive System Administrator to join our IT operations team in the regional area. This role is essential to ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our systems and services. Primary responsibilities include managing virtual and on-premise Windows environments, overseeing endpoint provisioning and security monitoring, and collaborating with other teams to maintain optimal IT performance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer and maintain Windows Server environments, including Active Directory and Group Policy. Manage and support virtualization platforms such as Hyper-V and VMware. Monitor and investigate events through Microsoft Sentinel and Log Analytics. Support Azure infrastructure, including VMs, resource groups, and automation tasks (e.g., Update Management, backup policies). Oversee endpoint management using Microsoft Intune and SCCM. Support and troubleshoot RDS/VDI and Desktop Virtualization Environments (DVE). Perform regular system patching, backups, and disaster recovery (DR) planning. Manage M365 tools, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Microsoft Defender. Collaborate with security, networking, and application teams on integrated initiatives. Document systems, procedures, and configurations; provide mentorship to junior team members.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent work experience accepted. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar role. Experience managing Windows Server environments and virtual desktop infrastructures. Demonstrated hands-on experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Intune, and SCCM. Experience with Azure AD, conditional access policies, and SSO implementation. Familiarity with FortiGate firewalls and Ubiquiti/Unifi network equipment is a plus. Exposure to ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms.

Special Requirements:

Microsoft Certified:

Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate (preferred). Ability to pass background checks and comply with organizational security standards.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Strong troubleshooting skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in scripting and automation tools for system administration tasks. Solid understanding of IT security principles and endpoint compliance. Effective communication and documentation abilities. Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams. Familiarity with Cisco Umbrella is a plus.

Full-time Pay:

$70,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
