System Administrator

is seeking a System Administrator to assist in a project which will include support of Windows, Dell, Cisco, Meraki, HyperV, Veeam backup, Netapps, Wasabi cloud, supporting in-house ticketing systems developed in SharePoint.

Onsite Columbia, SC:

Work hours 8:30a-5pm.
Responsibilities of the System Administrator
:
Responsible for providing advanced technical support, managing user accounts and permissions, maintaining system infrastructure (Windows / Dell systems, Cisco Network, on-prem servers), and contributing to the overall IT strategy of the organization.
This role bridges the gap between end-user support and system-level administration and requires strong technical skills with 4-5 years of experience in an IT role.
Requirements of the System Administrator
:
Provide network support:
Cisco switches (Layer 2 and Layer 3)
Port configuration
Pao Alto for firewalls
Cisco Meraki for Wi-Fi
VPN troubleshooting
Office 365 support, Provide on-prem server support
Diagnosing and resolve complex technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity for both local and remote users
Manage and resolve escalated help desk tickets, acting as a point of contact for complex or recurring problems
