Part-Time IT Assistant

USA, Inc. 481 Lakeshore Parkway, Rock Hill, SC 29730 HARTMANN USA seeks a tech-savvy student to assist in our IT department. Looking for part-time hours and an opportunity to learn new skills? In this role, you will work closely with our IT administrator to support the business’s technology needs. Approximately 20 hours a week.
Primary Responsibilities include the following:
- Provide technical assistance to staff and customers on hardware and software-related issues
- Assist with installing, configuring, and troubleshooting computer systems, hardware, and software
- Assist with the deployment of new applications and desktops
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues
- Research and recommend solutions for technical problems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to accomplish tasks Qualifications/ Requirements
- Working toward a bachelor’s degree in information technology
- Understands the basic concepts of IT hardware, software and telecommunications and networking
- Familiarity with hardware and software installation
- Desire to learn and achieve proficiency on internal software systems
- Customer-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
- Capable with problem-solving and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications and operating systems
- Able to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 40 pounds as required
