SUMMARY:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IT Systems Administrator to join the club. This role will focus on maintaining and supporting our IT infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft 365 administration, Okta user access management, and end-user technical support. The ideal candidate will also provide assistance with basic networking and hardware support, working with third-party IT vendors as needed, while contributing to the security and efficiency of our systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical Support:

Provide day-to-day support for hardware (PCs, Macs, printers), software, and cloud-based services.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for end-users efficiently and professionally.
Assist users with Microsoft 365 applications, including Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, and OneDrive.

System Administration:

Administer and maintain the Microsoft 365 Admin Center, including user accounts, mailboxes, licenses, and application settings.
Manage user identities and access via Okta Single Sign-On (SSO) and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
Perform routine maintenance, updates, and patches for workstations and servers.
Support backup processes and assist with disaster recovery procedures.
Oversee the procurement, issuance, and collection of company devices, such as laptops, and peripherals.
Maintain an inventory of IT assets, ensuring proper tracking and compliance.

Cloud & Application Support:

Provide support for cloud-based systems and services, with a focus on Microsoft 365.
Assist with the evaluation, deployment, and documentation of new applications and services.

Security and Compliance:

Support and enforce IT security best practices, including endpoint protection and access controls.
Assist in ensuring compliance with organizational security policies.

Basic Networking Support:

Provide first-level support for Meraki and Cisco network devices, including basic troubleshooting of LAN/WAN and VPN issues.
Escalate advanced networking issues to the Network Administrator as needed.

Collaboration & Projects:

Work closely with the Network Administrator and other departments to support IT-related initiatives.
Document system configurations, processes, and updates.
Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICIATIONS
Education:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
CompTIAA+, Security+, or Microsoft certifications (MS-900, MD-100 are a plus.

Experience:

5+ years of experience in IT support or systems administration.
Strong experience with Microsoft 365 Admin Center, including Teams, SharePoint, and Exchange Online.
Experience with Okta or other identity management systems.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency with Windows and macOS operating systems.
Familiarity with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
Basic knowledge of Meraki and Cisco networking equipment is preferred.
Understanding of cloud services and endpoint management.

Soft Skills:

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Other:

Availability to support IT operations during event days (periodic nights and weekends) as required.
