Position Summary:
Network Infrastructure Inventory Coordinator
Job Overview
We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented individual to join us as a Network Infrastructure Inventory Coordinator within our IT organization. This position is responsible for the inventory management processes to include data entry at procurement, receiving of equipment, coordination of storage and movement along with disposition at installation.
Coordinate with the suppliers/vendors and maintain equipment lead times. Manage the master parts inventory list and inbound shipping calendar. Process receiving and coordinate invoices with the purchasing and accounting departments.
As an Inventory Coordinator, you should have excellent analytical skills and strong problem-solving abilities. Experience with project coordination, inventory control or a background in IT along with a strong desire to learn network infrastructure is essential.
Responsibilities
Provide IT infrastructure inventory management and control
Organizes & labels inventory according to purpose or project – communicates any storage location changes to the PM or IT team.
Prepares for and participates in annual inventory.
Reviews department purchase requisitions/orders for order placement and/or inventory replenishment.
Maintain inventory of all IT equipment
Coordinating and handling daily operations in a timely manner
Identifying and resolving any issues in the inventory management and processes
Preparing and maintaining inventory reports and dashboards
Checking and processing purchase invoices
Creating contracts and negotiating its details with the suppliers/vendors
Reviewing and placing orders for new supplies
Examining if the supplies received are as per the order and in proper condition
Returning and replacing any damaged products
Participating in project meetings and reviews in order to anticipate equipment needs from inventory
