is a member of and works with the VAMC quadrad to develop stregic plans for the facility as it reles to access to care. Measures and assesses clinical business activities with an emphasis on improving clinical product line performance. Identify and implement improvements to optimize clinic management processes, access stregies, and “make-buy” decisions through an in depth analysis of in-house and non-VA provided care. Utilize a wide range of analytical techniques, stistical methods, and quality measurement tools to collect informion, to identify limitions/issues in current systems and processes, and to discover and recommend potential improvements to leadership. Review and provide input on nionally issued regulions and policies for VA-wide implemention, utilizing local ACOD-GPMs and communicion stregies. Review and evalue local processes and procedures to determine areas of effectiveness, efficiency, and improvement for proposal through GPM Community of Practice and the nional Steering Committee the nional level. Individual Occupional Requirement Undergradue and Gradue Educion :
Major study in hospital administrion, public health administrion, or reled fields such as business or public administrion with course work in health care administrion.
OR, Specialized Experience :
Progressively responsible analytical or administrive, or clinical management or supervisory experience in the health care field. This work may have been performed in an opering health care facility or a higher organizional echelon with advisory or directional authority over such facilities. Work must have involved a close working relionship with facility managers and analysis and/or coordinion of administrive, clinical, or other service activities, and provided knowledge of the following: Missions, organizions, programs, and requirements of health care delivery systems; Regulions and standards of various regulory and credentialing groups; and Government-wide, agency, and facility systems and requirements in various administrive areas such as budget, personnel, and procurement.

The work performed is of a precise nure requiring long periods of concentrion th is often interrupted. Incumbent is often faced with changing priorities and with meeting deadlines.
Work Environment:
Work is typically performed in an adequely lighted and clime controlled office. The employee may require occasional travel.
