Job Summary :
We are seeking a dedicated Support & Ops Technician II to provide second-level technical support, including installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT equipment. The role involves collaborating with technology teams to ensure smooth operation and resolve hardware, software, and network issues. Additionally, the position includes training coworkers on IT best practices, participating in projects like hardware refreshes, and supporting corporate security initiatives.
Key Responsibilities :
Provide second-level support for workstation OS (Windows, macOS), applications, mobile devices, and printers / copiers / MFPs. Test and support conference room A / V technology; follow operational procedures and respond to incidents through the ticketing system. Onboard new hires, ensuring they are equipped and understand IT systems and policies. Meet productivity and quality goals; troubleshoot issues involving operating systems, connectivity, and security tools. Participate in business-funded projects, provide backup for the Technology Service Desk, and ensure compliance with asset management guidelines.
Must-Have Skills :
Demonstrated experience in deploying and supporting Windows and macOS environments. Strong skills in installing / uninstalling hardware / software and conducting mass workstation deployments. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment.
Required Industry Experience :
2+ years of experience in an IT-related field, preferably with hands-on technical support roles within a corporate setting.
