Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Infrastructure Support Resource toprovide supplemental IT HelpDesk and Network Technician supportacross our NYC and Stamford, CT, offices. This role will primarilysupport YES Network and is an extension of the SinclairBroadcasting IT HelpDesk team. The ideal candidate will have strongtechnical skills, exceptional people skills, and a willingness tolearn in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provideonsite IT HelpDesk support at the following locations: 250 HarborDrive, Stamford, CT 06902 200 Park Avenue, Floor 12, Suite B, NewYork, NY, 10166 Live event venues (e.g., Yankee Stadium, BrokerageFirm Center, etc.)
  • Travel to the NYC office as needed, primarilyon Wednesdays for senior staff meetings.
  • Act as a concierge forusers, assisting with troubleshooting tickets, software, andservices.
  • Help with the deployment and maintenance of ITinfrastructure, including phones, printers, emails, networking, andbroadcast equipment.
  • Support Sinclair, YES Networks, and otherrelated entities, ensuring a smooth transition from Sinclair to YESNetworks.
  • Conduct password resets and provide general desktop,laptop, server, and network support with a strong emphasis oncustomer service.
  • Assist withnetwork/server/virtualization/storage/wireless issues and serve asthe go-to resource for all IT environments.
  • Troubleshoot issuesrelated to Microsoft, Dell, and Mac environments, includingMicrosoft Teams telephony and iPhone support.
  • Collaborate with theteam to manage and document network configurations, including cablemanagement and printer migrations.
  • Utilize ServiceNow forticketing and issue tracking, ensuring clear communication anddocumentation.
  • Participate in various projects, including emailmigration, proprietary application support, and network upgrades.
  • Support events and provide technical assistance as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in IT HelpDesk support andexecutive support roles.
  • Familiarity with Zoom conference roomsand Teams telephony is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills withthe ability to effectively communicate with a diverse user base.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to various technical issues andsupport requirements.
  • Experience with network troubleshooting,desktop/laptop support, and server management.
  • Knowledge ofServiceNow or similar ticketing systems is preferred.
  • Flexibilityto travel between Stamford and NYC as required.
Work Environment:
  • The candidate will be based in the Stamford office, which housesProduction, Graphics, and Broadcast Operations.
  • On average, thecandidate will work in Stamford 3 days a week, with travel to theNYC office for 1-2 days, primarily on Wednesdays.

– How many years of experience are required? 3-5years – What projects will the candidate be working on? Helpdesksupport for users, laptop refresh deployment, software versionupgrades and security updates, new hardware deployment, and networkconfiguration. – What will their day-to-day duties entail? Theprimary responsibility is to assist users with theirhelpdesk-related needs, along with the other tasks mentioned above.- What are the location requirements? The role requires 2 days inthe NY office and 3 days in the CT office. This schedule may varybased on operational needs (e.g., a new employee starting on aMonday may require IT support for onboarding, or a board ofdirectors meeting may occur on a Thursday). – What skills andexperience are essential? General knowledge of networking,familiarity with Windows OS and Mac OS, and a customer-orientedattitude.
