West Networks LLC West Networks LLC is seeking a skilled Tier 2 NOC Support Technician to join our growing technical support team. While primarily office-based, the role may occasionally involve travel for onsite support and installations.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain customer networks, including WAN, LAN, and wireless infrastructure Respond to support tickets, escalations, and inbound support calls with a focus on timely, high-quality resolution Assist in network configuration, performance optimization, and issue diagnosis using monitoring tools and CLI-based access Maintain and support routers, switches, firewalls, and access points (Peplink experience a plus) Perform limited onsite hardware installations as needed Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation (approximately once every 6 weeks) for emergency support Accurately document incidents, resolutions, and system changes in the ticketing system Collaborate with Tier 1 support and engineering teams to ensure consistent service delivery
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of IT support experience, ideally in a help desk, NOC, or networking role Strong understanding of IP networking, including subnets, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and NAT. (Peplink Certified Associate, Peplink Certified Engineer, Net+, Sec+, CCNA are preferred) Hands-on experience with business-grade routers, switches, and access points Familiarity with tools used for remote access, network monitoring, and diagnostics Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally perform physical equipment setup Experience with VoIP systems (3CX or similar) is a plus, but not required Comfortable using hand and power tools
