Job Summary:

Technicians will be installing the communications equipment, staging for setup, configuring, and supporting a wide selection of network equipment, wireless access points, cameras, routers, and switches. This position will require a dynamic person with good troubleshooting skills as well as customer service capabilities. The ideal candidate will be familiar with various network technologies, equipment, and capabilities.

Experience/Education:

Experience in installation of wireless access points (3 years preferred) Traveling required Available to work evenings, weekends, and overtime Must maintain a valid active Driver’s License Driving Record must be incident free for last 3 years High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required BICSI 1 and 2 certification preferred. Physical Demands/Work Environment 100% Frequently required to utilize hand and finger dexterity 75% Frequently required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl; ability to climb 12ft ladder 75% Frequently required to talk or hear 50% Continually work near moving mechanical parts 50% Occasionally work in high, precarious places Able to sit, stand, kneel and/or walk for long periods of time for 75% of time Must possess the ability to occasionally lift, push, pull and/or move at least 50 pounds Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision; Distance vision; Color vision; Peripheral vision; Depth perception and ability to adjust focus While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually Quiet/ Moderate /Loud.
