US Support Services Technician Description:
The Support Services Technician is responsible for software and hardware support (Tiers 1 and 2), with the more senior resources being responsible forplex Tier 2 support tasks. Provides technical advice, guidance and informal training to end users using hardware and software programs. Troubleshoots and restores routine technical service and equipment problems by analyzing, identifying and diagnosing faults and symptoms using established processes and procedures. Performs root cause analysis and develops checklists for typical problems. Rmends procedures and controls for problem prevention. Maintains knowledge database and call tracking database to enhance quality and timeliness of problem resolutions. Works in a team setting, sharing information and assisting others with calls.
Qualifications:
Hands-on technical experience supporting hardware and software in a desk-side or IT support setting
Experience withputer imaging, setup, and configuration, including laptops and desktops
Familiarity with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Remedy, Zendesk, or similar platforms
Basic understanding ofputer systems and troubleshooting techniques, including root cause analysis and issue documentation
Ability to follow established processes for diagnosing and resolving Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical issues
Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, user permissions, and device configurations
Exposure to AutoPilot or similar tools for device provisioning is a plus
Strongmunication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to guide and support end users
Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn, knowledge, and grow technical skillsets
