Sr Network Operations Tech Position Available In Fulton, Georgia

Our client, a leader in the logistics industry, is seeking a Sr Network Operations Tech to join their team. As a Sr Network Operations Tech, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting critical network functions. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, effective communication abilities, and a customer-oriented mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

• Alpharetta, GA (100% onsite)

• Shift:

• Rotates every 4 months between first shift (06:30AM – 03:15 PM) and second shift. (02:30PM – 11:15PM)

• Duration:

• 12+ Months Contract
• What’s the Job?
• + Monitor the production environment for alerts and respond to incidents. + Provide incident support, including communications, trending, and tracking. + Document incidents with appropriate detail in the trouble ticketing system. + Interact with Information Services Teams and Infrastructure Vendors to resolve issues. + Support troubleshooting and analysis of production incidents.
• What’s Needed?
• + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent preferred. + Well-organized and task-oriented with effective written and verbal communication skills. + Beginner knowledge of Data Communications and DB2 Data Sharing. + Intermediate proficiency with TCP/IP, TSO, MVS/JCL, and VTAM. + Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
