SUMMARY:

Test and inspect assigned products to determine if the products are performing at appropriate levels for sale to our customers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

•  Ability to test all networking, voice and storage equipment as required.
•  Identify and recommend additional/new hardware and software to stay ahead of our competition in terms of testing ability.
•  Troubleshoot effectively and resolve issues with the testing equipment.
•  Assist in the development of new test procedures and train others on new procedures as needed.
•  Assist Testing and Tech support with customer configurations as required.
•  Work with management to initiate the development of new tests and quality control procedures.
•  Assist customers with equipment problems.
•  Analyze problems, research probable solutions and provide network redesign suggestions as needed.
•  Resolve hardware or software conflicts with CXtec products and their existing systems.
•  Contact customers regarding defective or damaged product returns.
•  Obtain certifications to enhance ability to perform configurations/engineering capabilities. Troubleshoot any issues directly with customers as needed.
•  Research and input information into anti counterfeit ISO documents.
•  Collaborate with management to enhance test automation procedures.
•  Assume additional responsibilities as required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

•  High school diploma or GED.
•  Three years’ experience in a test lab or networking environment.
•  Cisco UCS and Dell server experience a plus.
•  Strong knowledge of networking and storage fundamentals.
•  Proficient in Windows OS and MS Office.
•  Ability to document complex procedures.
•  Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
