Technical Specialist CXtec Inc. Norcross, GA 30093
SUMMARY:
Test and inspect assigned products to determine if the products are performing at appropriate levels for sale to our customers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Ability to test all networking, voice and storage equipment as required. Identify and recommend additional/new hardware and software to stay ahead of our competition in terms of testing ability. Troubleshoot effectively and resolve issues with the testing equipment. Assist in the development of new test procedures and train others on new procedures as needed. Assist Testing and Tech support with customer configurations as required. Work with management to initiate the development of new tests and quality control procedures. Assist customers with equipment problems. Analyze problems, research probable solutions and provide network redesign suggestions as needed. Resolve hardware or software conflicts with CXtec products and their existing systems. Contact customers regarding defective or damaged product returns. Obtain certifications to enhance ability to perform configurations/engineering capabilities. Troubleshoot any issues directly with customers as needed. Research and input information into anti counterfeit ISO documents. Collaborate with management to enhance test automation procedures. Assume additional responsibilities as required.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or GED. Three years’ experience in a test lab or networking environment. Cisco UCS and Dell server experience a plus. Strong knowledge of networking and storage fundamentals. Proficient in Windows OS and MS Office. Ability to document complex procedures. Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
