The Leidos National Security Sector is seeking a Field Engineer to work as part of the AEGIS Test Team in Bath, ME overseeing the installation and conducting testing of the Sonar Suite. This is working with dynamic schedules and coordinating with other members of the test team and ship’s force. This position will encompass all stages of production and post sail away support. Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree (or equivalent) and 2+ years of relevant experience in IT and network operations (additional experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree. Proven proficiency in IT Enterprise Operations and Network Operations. Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Comprehensive understanding of network infrastructure and hardware. Hands-on experience with network security protocols and troubleshooting complex network issues. Background in software installation/upgrades and LAN installation/maintenance. Physical capability to lift up to 40 pounds, climb ladders, and perform occasional hands-on activities. US Citizenship is required, with the ability to secure a DoD Secret Clearance upon hiring.

Preferred Qualifications:

Active or eligible DoD Secret Clearance. Certification such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA). Familiarity with US Navy Shipboard Combat Systems is a plus. Experience working in a shipyard environment or with senior-level government officials. Exceptional communication skills and a proven ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders. Strategic mindset with an ability to analyze data, research independently, and present well-considered recommendations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with expertise in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Customer-focused attitude with experience in direct support/interface roles. EIO2024
