Summary We are seeking a Senior IT Technician to join our team at Computer Improvements. This job is being posted as a part-time or contractor position but with the right candidate this has the opportunity of becoming a full-time position. This role involves providing advanced technical support and troubleshooting for our clients, ensuring their IT systems run smoothly and efficiently. You will play a vital role in maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction while addressing complex technical issues. Responsibilities Provide expert technical support for hardware and software issues across various platforms. Manage and troubleshoot computer networks, ensuring optimal performance and security. Assist clients with Windows, Apple and Linux operating systems, offering solutions tailored to their needs. Implement firewall configurations to enhance network security. Conduct software troubleshooting to resolve application-related problems promptly. Collaborate with team members to improve service delivery processes and client satisfaction. Spec out and install servers, NAS, surveillance cameras and cloud devices. Run ethernet cabling and more Requirements Proven experience as an IT Technician or similar role in a technical support capacity. Strong knowledge of computer networking principles and practices. Proficiency in Windows and Apple operating systems; familiarity with Linux is a plus. Experience with help desk software such as Splashtop. Excellent problem-solving skills with a customer-oriented mindset. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
