Technician ( I, II, III )
DESCRIPTION
The IT Technician’s role is to provide first level support and maintain in-house computer systems, desktops, hardware/software and peripherals. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all hardware/software while ensuring optimal systems performance. The person will also provide end[1]user/customer technical assistance (in person, by telephone, or via e-mail) in a timely, professional, and accurate manner.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or related field preferred. Two years of previous experience as a help desk technician, computer technician, or IT support.
LICENSE OR PERMITS REQUIRED
Valid State ID and/or Driver’s License. Must be able to obtain and maintain Mississippi Gaming Permit required.
