NMHSConnections Job Description Equipment Management:

Operates, inspects, maintains, and/or troubleshoot equipment and components Repair or replace defective equipment/components Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure equipment runs efficiently Installs new equipment/components

Document Utilization:

Utilize and adhere to applicable diagrams, drawings, blueprints, and manufacturer’s manuals

Performance Improvement:

Reviews design modifications and recommend performance improvements

Liaison:

Serves as a liaison between Facility Operations, departments, manufacturers, and vendors

Reporting:

Analyze information/data and evaluate results to determine best solution to problem/issue Maintains record of repairs and/or maintenance Performs and records equipment efficiency evaluations

Communication:

Accurately and effectively communicate to Staff, patients, visitors, vendors, consultants, and contractors

Customer Service:

Effectively and efficiently respond to customer complaints/requests/needs

Budget:

Complies with departmental budget

Educations:

Stay abreast of changings in technology that affects equipment Educate and train ” junior” staff members as needed

Policies/Procedures/Guidelines Complies with appropriate Local/State/Federal policies/procedures/guideline/regulations/laws/statues

Job Knowledge:

High school diploma or equivalent with minimum of 3 years’ experience required; associates degree or advanced training with equivalent experience preferred Valid State Driver’s License with approved driving history; required Excellent problem solving, decision making and analytical skills; required Good organizational and communication (written and verbal) skills; required Working knowledge of equipment operations, maintenance, installation (as described in Essential Functions); required Excellent interpersonal skills; required Requirements No additional requirements from any stated in the above description.
