They handle system updates, communication, record-keeping, and ensuring efficient use of resources.

Scheduling and Dispatching:

Planning and scheduling field technician Jobs, aiming to fully utilize the daily capacity. Dispatching technicians and vehicles for routine and emergency repairs. Prioritizing work requests based on urgency and importance. Balancing the workload of technicians while meeting customers’ expectations. Day before and Day of Bulk Text to Customers Customer Service (Internal and External) Establish from customer and available Ripple systems if customer support is required to resolve the incident, typical customer support is site access. Dispatch the Field Technicians to attend the reported fault within the agreed turnaround time as per SLA. Establish communication between Field Technicians, Customer Service, and Customers on Installations and repairs. Work on reschedules directly with Customers based on issues that arise on a daily basis with installations and repairs. Notify Customer Service when appropriate (

EG:

Technician call outs). Move Work Orders in systems to allow for reporting and real time status Provide remote support for all teams while working on customers’ faults as required. Create Halo tickets as needed and update Halo System every 30 minutes on ETA’s, ETR’s and job Status. Tickets to be resolved within agreed upon SLA. Constantly manage any reported incidents to meet the required SLA by probing the Field Technicians on the reason for incident and always request proof (field technician feedback; voice, SMS, email, support pics.) Update status of tickets in systems timely Assist Maintenance and Field technicians with troubleshooting the fiber repairs by using relevant systems (

EG:

Halo, QGIS) to check the disconnected distance and feedback to the technicians on site.

Resource Management:

o Tracking technician availability, equipment needs, and material requirements. o Ensuring adequate staffing and resources are available for scheduled tasks. o Systems Training and Quality Controlo Clear escalation paths internally and externally

Problem Solving and Adaptability:

o Addressing unforeseen issues or delays that may impact the schedule and finding solutions. o Adapting to changing priorities and job requirements. Reporting Compile incident report on the customer reported fault according to the required standard and ensure it is completed within 24 hours. Manage Shift Handover process on the active faults via mail and create calendar reminder for the team on all the deferred faults to manage continuity. Daily reporting on Bulk Text, Failed Installs, Including reason codes. Ad-Hoc Perform any other work-related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time-to time by management.

A basic understanding of fiber optic technologies and installation processes is helpful.
