Level 2 MSP Help Desk 3.8 3.8 out of 5 stars Kenilworth, NJ 07033 Our client, a growing MSP (Managed Service Provider) is looking for a level II help desk technician to join their team! This is a permanent role that offers, excellent benefits and room to grow. A hybrid schedule is available after training! As a Level 2 Help Desk Technician , your primary responsibilities include remote support for workstations, servers, firewalls, and routers, and communicating with the customer throughout the process. The candidate must be able to perform various IT support issues, ranging from desktop support to complex server and network issues. Act as the point of contact for customers for ticket escalations Handle ticket escalations ranging from server support, network issues, and software installation Coordinate and schedule IT support tickets to ensure maximum utilization of billable resources Ability to setup, configure, and troubleshoot Windows Server and related issues Ability to implement and troubleshoot spam filters, O365, Microsoft Exchange, and associated email solutions Troubleshoot and resolve firewall, router, and other network-related issues Perform on-site installations/repairs as necessary Familiar with business-class network technologies such as TCP/IP, VPNs, VLANs, and QoS Familiar with Microsoft Server technologies such as Active Directory, Hyper-V, Exchange, and SQL Qualified candidates will have: A clean NJ Driver’s license At least 2 years of MSP support experience Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems / Office Applications / Ethernet Networking Ability to troubleshoot IT issues quickly and efficiently Be able to stay current with ever-changing technology and IT solutions Ability to meet daily goals Excellent communication and customer service skills Enthusiastic positive attitude Self-motivation with strong initiative to succeed IT Certification is a plus (Microsoft, Azure, Cisco, etc) Premier Personnel Group, Inc. is one of New Jersey’s most respected agencies in providing permanent and temporary personnel.
