Network Technician Location:
Bronx, NY Salary:
$45,000 – $53,000 (commensurate with experience) Join Long Island’s #1-Ranked Technical Consultant Custom Computer Specialists (CCS) is seeking a Level 2 Network Technician to join our growing team, working directly with one of our valued clients. If you’re experienced in network hardware/software, wired and wireless support, and thrive in a customer-facing environment, we want to hear from you. Key Responsibilities Conduct wired network surveys and document workstation locations campus-wide Perform wireless surveys in varied building environments Migrate network-connected devices efficiently and accurately Provide post-migration technical support to end users Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to wired and wireless connectivity Log and update service tickets in internal ticketing systems Assist with network access issues and resolve connectivity disruptions Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders Work actively across the campus (walking, carrying equipment, conducting walkthroughs) Perform additional duties as assigned Required Qualifications A+, Network+, Security+ certifications 3-5 years of hands-on hardware and networking support experience Proven troubleshooting skills with both hardware and software Experience with Windows 10, 11, and MacOS environments Understanding of wireless networks and device connectivity Strong customer service and interpersonal skills Excellent verbal and written communication Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Windows and Mac) Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage time effectively Physical ability to move throughout large campuses and perform technical walkthroughs Preferred Qualifications CCNA certification preferred Experience supporting users in an enterprise / educational environment Why CCS?
