SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:
The Network Technician Team Lead is a hands-on leadership role responsible for guiding a team of IT technicians in the delivery of high-quality technical support and infrastructure services across the organization. This role bridges the gap between technical execution and strategic oversight, ensuring daily operations align with network standards and long-term IT goals. This role will provide customer support for all agencies in the Citizen Advocates Network and associated affiliates. Essential Functions (Job Duties) Team Leadership & Coordination Serve as the primary point of contact for technician team members regarding task prioritization, scheduling, and troubleshooting Provide mentorship, training, and feedback to technicians. Coordinate daily assignments and ensure timely resolution of service tickets. Technical Operations Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and network systems. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime. Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, procedures, and inventory. Maintain correct and complete configuration documentation. Project Support Collaborate with IT leadership to implement infrastructure projects and upgrades. Assist in evaluating new technologies and tools to improve service delivery. Ensure compliance with cybersecurity protocols and data protection standards. Process Improvement Identify operational bottlenecks and recommend process enhancements. Standardize technician workflows and promote best practices across the team. Complete, order and track purchase orders of I.T. items. Maintain knowledge of technology innovations and trends. Workweek schedule:
Monday through Friday.
Hours of work:
__8__ a.m. to _4:30_ p.m. Hours and schedules may vary depending on Company need and workload. Employees will be given as much advance notice as possible when such changes occur. Travel Frequent travel to network offices to support end user in a timely manner. This role requires on-site presence and oversite of all agencies in the Citizen Advocates Network and associated affiliates. It is expected that the person in this role will complete site rotation of all assigned agencies on a weekly basis. Required Education and Experience Associate’s degree in Information Technology or related field (Bachelor’s preferred). Must have a valid New York State Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
