in Glen Cove NY Position Summary We are seeking a skilled IT Technician that will be responsible for providing technical support and ensuring the smooth operation of our computer systems and resolving hardware issues. This role often involves troubleshooting hardware failures, performing component swaps, and ensuring the proper functioning of IT infrastructure. The job also might involve installing and upgrading hardware, as well as addressing help desk tickets and work orders.

Duties Troubleshooting and Diagnosis:

Identifying the root cause of hardware malfunctions and developing solutions.

Component Replacement:

Swapping out faulty components, such as power supplies, memory, or hard drives.

Hardware Installation and Upgrade:

Installing new hardware or upgrading existing components. Assist in maintaining computer networking systems, including LAN configurations and troubleshooting connectivity problems. Conduct regular maintenance on computer hardware to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to implement IT solutions that enhance productivity. Offer exceptional customer service by responding to user inquiries and resolving technical issues in a timely manner. Document all support activities and maintain accurate records of user interactions. #
