In this role, you will be responsible for the on-site installation and basic maintenance of mini-servers at retail locations. These devices support cutting-edge AI technology that helps detect shoplifting in real-time. Responsibilities Visit assigned retail store locations across the New York area Introduce yourself to store staff and request access to the internet router Connect our mini-server and follow step-by-step instructions from a remote technician Submit a brief report after each visit Requirements Comfortable with basic tech setups (e.g., connecting to routers, following remote guidance) Reliable transportation within the New York area Professional and courteous when dealing with store personnel Ability to work independently and communicate effectively Must have 1099 independent contractor status and be able to provide a completed W-9 form Project Timeline We are looking for someone available for occasional on-demand assignments , whether immediately or for future needs in the New-York area.
