Student Worker/Junior IT Technician Position Available In Oneida, New York

Rate of pay: $15.50 an hour RCIL is looking for a Student Worker/Junior IT Technician to: + Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in person. + Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripheral equipment. + Assist with setting up and supporting audio/visual equipment for meetings or presentations. + Maintain accurate records of support request and resolutions using a ticketing system. + Provide basic network support, including troubleshooting connectivity issues. + Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, and mobile devices. + Other duties as assigned.

Who may be considered:

+ College students, 18 years and older. + The successful candidate will be able to work 35 hours per week. Hours must be completed during RCIL’s business hours of Monday-Friday between 8am-4pm.

Knowledge and skills:

+ Basic understanding of computer hardware components and troubleshooting techniques. + Familiarity with Window operating systems and common software applications (e.g. Microsoft Office, browser, antivirus software). + Awareness of cybersecurity best practices, including data protection and safe internet usage. + Basic knowledge of ticketing system. + Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems.

Wages:

$15.50/hour
