opportunity for a Network Operations Technician (NOC)!

Be available to work the shift you are assigned. The shift will be set for times between 8:00 AM ET and 8:00 PM ET

As a NOC Technician, you will be at the forefront of network deployment, configuration, and maintenance. Collaborating closely with the Remote Operations Center (ROC) team and field technicians, you’ll apply network changes, execute upgrades, and ensure smooth technology rollouts. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining the stability and performance of the network infrastructure, directly impacting the success of critical business operations.

What You’ll Do:

Apply and validate network configurations for routers and switches during store deployments.
Execute real-time changes to network settings in coordination with the ROC and field technicians.
Administer the technology deployment plan, supporting the rollout of new solutions, enhancements, and upgrades.
Perform hardware upgrades and replacements for network equipment.
Monitor store network performance and respond to incidents in real-time.
Troubleshoot connectivity issues and escalate complex problems to senior engineers as needed.
Collaborate with internal teams to maintain accurate documentation of systems, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.

Must-Have Qualifications:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Networking, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2+ years of experience in a NOC, network support, or deployment role.
Basic understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Familiarity with network monitoring and ticketing tools.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with remote and on-site teams.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

Hands-on experience with Mist by Juniper for switch and wireless network management.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $20.53 to $22.53 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
