Job Description
IT Technician – Associate-Level Opportunity W2 Contract onsite in Knoxville, TN location. Candidates must be able to work M-F onsite. Join one of Knoxville, TN’s largest companies as an IT Technician! This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on IT experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The primary focus will be shipping IT equipment, maintaining inventory, and performing light technical tasks related to PC imaging, networking, and hardware setup.
Key Responsibilities:
Pick, package, and ship IT equipment to support new and existing team members Configure and image devices using Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) and other PC imaging tools Assemble and set up network racks, servers, and IP devices Assign and track MAC addresses for networked equipment Perform light assembly and configuration of equipment for shipment Maintain accurate inventory of IT equipment using ServiceNow or similar asset management tools Assist with server rack builds, basic server hookups, and cabling
Qualifications & Requirements:
Work is based in a warehouse environment, with all builds shipped directly to stores Prior IT experience or relevant education required (Internships, technical degrees, or 1+ years of professional IT experience) Familiarity with ServiceNow for asset tracking and IT support Basic knowledge of servers, networking, IP devices, and MAC addresses Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a positive attitude Must be comfortable standing for extended periods and performing manual labor This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your IT career with a leading company.
