Field Technical Support Rep HeartCentrix Solutions Memphis, TN 38109 Job Responsibilities Provide on-site field support to customers, including system installation, maintenance, servicing, and repair. Investigate and resolve complex installation and maintenance issues. Verify and approve the operational quality and functionality of system equipment. Diagnose and resolve hardware-related issues, including installations, upgrades, and maintenance tasks. Instruct and guide customers on the proper operation and upkeep of systems and equipment. Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate teams for further investigation and resolution. Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams on both technical and administrative matters. Perform system trend analysis and prepare reports on recurring technical issues and problem trends. Basic Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of hands-on field support experience. Proficient in hardware/software installation, support, and troubleshooting.
Experience with:
Windows XP, 10, and 11 Mac OS and iOS Active Directory, Microsoft Office, Office 365 Network printers (including HP models), configuration, consumable replacement, and relocation VPN support and remote connectivity troubleshooting Ticketing and asset management systems Familiarity with: Basic networking concepts and hands-on troubleshooting (Hands & Eyes support) Imaging and configuration of new PCs/laptops via SCCM and standalone setups Remote installation and support of software and hardware Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. Preferred Education and Certifications High School Diploma or GED (required) Vendor certifications such as Lenovo (preferred) CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ (preferred but not required) Apple training/certification (preferred but not required) Work Environment and Schedule Primary work location: Office environment with responsibilities in walk-up kiosks, vending machines, network printers, and telecommunications closets. May require weekend work for critical or high-priority incidents. Shift work and on-call coverage will be required as part of the support rotation.
