Royal Caribbean Group’s Argonaut Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Product Manager reporting to the Senior Director, Product This position will work on-site in Miami, Florida.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Product Manager to join our team. The Product manager will be responsible for end-to-end ownership within their POD, ensuring that all requirements are captured, refined, and aligned with program deliverables. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of both new and existing platforms, possess excellent leadership skills, and be able to drive continuous improvement within their POD.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
End-to-End Ownership
Act as the E2E owner for their POD, ensuring all aspects of product development and delivery are managed effectively.
Platform Understanding
Have a full understanding of how the new platform will work and the major differences between the new and existing platforms.
Requirements Management
Ensure all requirements are captured and refined properly for the POD.
Assist the POD in writing requirements with inputs from the Brand team.
Goal Setting
Set up goals for the POD that are in alignment with program deliverables and leadership team objectives.
Be responsible for meeting these goals.
Planning and Execution
Plan and execute tasks within the POD, ensuring alignment with overall program objectives.
Coordinate across cross-functional PODs/Squads to identify dependencies and facilitate collaboration.
Support with Documentation
Provide support to the POD with flow diagrams and functional flows wherever required.
Tracking and Reporting
Track and report on the progress of project delivery, ensuring that key milestones and timelines are met.
Adherence to Program Guidelines
Ensure adherence to program guidelines and help the technical team make business decisions quickly and effectively.
Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities for improvement and help the POD implement these improvements.
Leadership and Direction
Provide leadership and direction to the team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree
Experience:
Proven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role within an Agile environment.
Skills:
Strong understanding of product management and Agile methodologies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to document requirements and processes clearly and concisely.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with travel platforms is a plus.
Attributes:
Strategic thinker with the ability to align team goals with program deliverables.
Detail-oriented and highly organized.
