You will make an impact working in the design, development, and deployment of technology solutions that align with strategic business goals. You will be a valued member of the Software Engineering and Digital Platforms team, working closely with engineering managers, DevOps specialists, QA teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive continuous delivery and technical excellence.
Location:
Atlanta, GA (Hybrid/Onsite) Responsibilities 8 to 10 years of experience as a product owner. Ability to work in an Agile team. Collaborate with stakeholders like engineering and QA to understand their needs and gather detailed business requirements. An ability to talk technically and on the process side that meets business needs and objectives. Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions. Develop and document business process models to illustrate current and future states. Strong communication along with project updates to stakeholders and executives. Create detailed documentation of business requirements, processes, and solutions. Participate in release management, testing and validating new systems and processes to meet business requirements. Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to ongoing optimization efforts. Qualifications Product owner capabilities Prioritize product backlog, refine epics, impact analysis, and get commitments on delivery. Lead product delivery planning and closure covering entire process from intake to deployment Strong background in banking, commercial or retail Knowledge in Agile and scrum ceremonies Proven track record on release management working across multiple teams including engineering, devops and QA. Salary and Other Compensation:
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
