Job Purpose:
The purpose of the Digital Product Owner is to be responsible for leading the development and optimization of digital products, ensuring they meet customer needs and align with business goals. This role works closely with cross-functional teams—including UX/UI design, development, marketing, and business stakeholders—to deliver exceptional digital experiences that drive engagement, growth, and customer satisfaction.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Define and prioritize the product backlog for one or more digital products (e.g., websites, mobile apps, e-commerce platforms, portals). Translate business needs and user feedback into clear and actionable user stories and acceptance criteria. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, development, marketing, sales, and operations to deliver high-value features. Serve as the primary point of contact for product-related questions and decisions during development sprints. Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and product demos; participate in retrospectives and standups. Monitor product performance using KPIs such as user engagement, conversion rates, and NPS; make data-driven decisions. Ensure that digital products align with overall business goals, brand standards, and customer needs. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to propose innovative product improvements. Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Marketing, or similar related subjects or 4 years relevant experience in lieu of a degree. 5-7 years of experience in digital product management or product ownership. Proven success in delivering customer-facing digital solutions. Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience using tools like Jira, Confluence, Figma, or similar. Preferred Experience in B2B or B2C e-commerce environments. Familiarity of web analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics). Familiarity with Ecommerce CMS, PIM, ERP, or CRM systems. Possess a valid driver’s license Possess a satisfactory driving record as determined by company driver policies
Travel Requirement:
25% travel to branches and other operating companies requiring some overnight stay, travel to industry related conferences and training requiring some extended stay
