Position Responsibilities:

The Sr Privacy PM role within Ads P&E in Samsung Ads is a critical role in ensuring that everything we do and build within Samsung Ads is compliant with both internal policy as well as local legal regulations (state, country, etc.), and as such requires candidates to have specialization across three different core competencies: Online Advertising, Product Management (particularly as it applies to software development), and a detailed understanding of local privacy laws in Tier 1 countries (US, CA, EU, etc.), as well as the ability to cogently tie those 3 pieces together to make a recommendation around how an upcoming change to a law in a given locality will affect our ability to pursue a particular business line and/or build certain features that involve user data. Work closely with P&E team and HQ Privacy Teams to create technical product requirements from privacy requirements dictated by GPO and NA Privacy. Build and own the compliance workstreams for upcoming privacy regulation in US, including CDPA, CPRA, and CPA. Drive and own the privacy review process (looping in legal, BD, etc. where necessary) to handle privacy reviews for all new products or features that in any way involve consumer data. Bridge communication between legal/privacy teams and Samsung P&E teams, Create robust privacy documentation/requirements around US product launches to help ease expansion of US product launches to EU market. Work with Architecture team to ensure PI data flows are kept up to date. Own 3rd Party Data Vendor Privacy vetting process and reviews. Create and deliver privacy training to the wider Product and Engineering org. Work with program management to enhance the privacy review process and ensure consistent tracking.

Position Requirements:

Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field and 3 years of experience as a Senior Professional I, Product Planning or related occupation in technical product management within digital advertising setting. The 3 years of experience must have included: 1. Technical product management experience in data management, privacy data flow creation, and reporting; 2. Privacy experience, including

CCPA, GDPR. TCF

v1, TCF v2, US Privacy String; 3. Experience with privacy principles and regulations, personal information (IP), and sensitive information (SI); 4. Experience in digital advertising ecosystem, including DMPs, DSPs, SSPs, Device Graphs, and Reporting and Insights; 5. Experience with project management software, including JIRA and Confluence, Python, Java, Javascript, and SQL.
Employer will accept a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field and 5 years of progressive, baccalaureate experience as Senior Professional I, Product Planning or related occupation in technical product management within digital advertising setting. The 5 years of experience must have included: 1. Technical product management experience in data management, privacy data flow creation, and reporting; 2. Privacy experience, including
