Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a Product Owner/Manager with deep domain expertise in credit card origination and consumer lending products. The ideal candidate will own the end-to-end product lifecycle — from ideation to delivery — and work closely with cross-functional teams to drive business value and enhance the customer journey in the credit card acquisition space.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the roadmap and execution of the credit card origination platform and workflows. Collaborate with business stakeholders to define product vision, goals, and KPIs. Translate business needs into clear and actionable product backlogs and user stories. Partner with engineering, design, compliance, risk, and operations teams to prioritize and deliver features. Ensure regulatory and compliance requirements (KYC, AML, Fair Lending, etc.) are addressed in product design. Analyze customer and application data to identify friction points and drive continuous improvements. Define and track success metrics, and adjust strategy based on performance insights. Stay abreast of industry trends, digital onboarding best practices, and credit card product innovations.
Required Skills & Experience:
6+ years of experience as a Product Owner/Manager in financial services, preferably in credit card origination or consumer lending. Strong understanding of origination workflows, including identity verification, credit underwriting, application decision-making, and fulfillment. Proven ability to manage product backlogs, write user stories, and lead agile teams. Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Figma, or equivalent. Familiarity with regulatory environments impacting credit card origination. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field (MBA preferred).
