Purpose and Objective:
SAP America, Inc. seeks a Senior Project Consultant•Development at our Newtown Square, PA location to manage technology program(s).
Expectations and Tasks:
Need to be a driven leader with an ownership mentality, technical acumen, and desire to make a difference•for customers and teammates alike. Position will work with designers, researchers, product managers, engineers, and extended team members to drive product excellence and facilitate the successful delivery of experiences that are intuitive, engaging and aligned with the SAP vision and strategy. Needs to be self-motivated and ownership-minded, will be charged with coordinating and tracking overarching program and workstreams, ensuring predictability and healthy partnerships within the organization. Candidate will need to demonstrate strong prioritization, organizational, executive communication, and problem-solving skills. Must act as orchestrator of experts to obtain expertise from the HCM Product Engineering organization as required. Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of various cloud solutions and integration scenarios across HCM (e.g. Employee Central, Learning, Recruiting, Talent, Goals, etc.). Must be detail-oriented, well versed in program management methodologies and project life cycles, skilled in a cross-functional matrix environment of technical resources, possess the ability to multi-task, and work under moderate supervision.
Education and Occupational Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field of study and six (6) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:
Experience must involve four (4) years in the following:
Project Management Methodologies & Tools:
Agile (Scrum Master), Waterfall, JIRA, AHA, Microsoft Project, Confluence, and PMBOK; Driving and delivering complex technical programs from inception to delivery including managing project plans, prioritization, executive leadership and stakeholder communication, cross-functional dependencies, resource management, and risk mitigation; Establishing and maintaining Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Objective and Key Results (OKRs) to measure the success and effectiveness of the product operating model transformation efforts; Defining target state strategies and blueprints and developing strategic roadmaps to transform IT organizations, processes, operating models, architectures, and governance capabilities; and Orchestrating various process improvements initiatives by aligning with Scaled Agile and Information Technology Infrastructure Library. Experience must involve two (2) years in the following: Translating high-level strategy and go-to-market plans into tangible software development roadmap to deliver premier AI/ML/Generative Al-powered solutions with implementation of Machine Learning solutions and platforms; and Defining, analyzing, and maintaining large dataset’s, creating executive level analytical dashboards using Power BI or Tableau and utilizing databases MySQL, PostgreSQL or MongoDB.

Compensation Range Transparency:
The annual base salary range for this position is $125,611•$180,576. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $125,611•$205,200. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
