Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Business, Technology, UX, or related fields.
- 2-3 years of experience in product ownership, business analysis, or a similar role; experience with digital products or chatbots is a plus.
- Proven ability to gather and translate business requirements into clear technical stories and acceptance criteria.
- Familiarity with Jira or other agile project management tools.
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to facilitate collaboration across multiple teams.
- Experience in banking, financial services, or regulated industries is preferred but not required.
Overview:
The Junior Experience Owner will join the digital experience team responsible for the ongoing enhancement of our Cizi chatbot within the Citizens mobile application. In this role, you’ll support the Senior Experience Owner by translating business requirements into detailed Jira user stories, prioritizing tasks in the product backlog, and coordinating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless chatbot experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document requirements from stakeholders and business units to define chatbot features and enhancements.
- Write clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria in Jira to facilitate effective agile development.
- Actively manage and prioritize the product backlog in collaboration with the Senior Experience Owner to align with strategic objectives and customer needs.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, developers, QA, and business teams to ensure timely delivery of chatbot enhancements and resolution of issues.
- Monitor and analyze chatbot performance and user feedback, recommending improvements based on data-driven insights.
- Provide support to the Senior Experience Owner in the planning and execution of chatbot roadmap initiatives.
Preferred Skills:
- Understanding of conversational design principles and chatbot technologies
- Experience working in agile development teams.
- Familiarity with customer experience analytics and user journey mapping.
