Job Title:
Lead Technical Product Owner / BSA
Job Responsibilities:
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the functional capabilities of various areas and products.
Collaborate with our client’s Engagement Manager in leading, directing, and reviewing all activities associated with delivering technology products.
Ensure product quality, project timeliness, and customer satisfaction.
Define and document requirements for a set of custom developed or vendor software products.
Conduct Design Thinking sessions to gain insights into end user and customer needs.
Manage the Product Backlog for a Product, prioritizing requirements, defining and managing scope and sprints for a project.
Skills Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in business solutions.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Experience working with Agile development processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Scrum Master Certification and experience with SQL and SAP.
Additional Details:
Strong understanding of technology, software development, and the technical landscape of the product.
Ability to translate business needs into clear, technical requirements.
Experience in managing product backlog, ensuring it’s well-defined, prioritized, and aligned with the product vision and roadmap.
Ability to provide technical guidance and make decisions related to the product’s technical architecture, implementation, and development.
Experience in identifying and mitigating potential technical risks and issues.
Required Qualifications:
10+ years of experience working in supporting multiple software projects in various IT roles.
8+ years of Product Owner, Business Analyst or System Analysis experience.
Expertise with backlog management using Azure Devops (ADO).
2+ years of Quality Assurance experience.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Skills:
Strong understanding of software development, programming languages, databases, and relevant technologies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to identify and solve technical problems and challenges.
Ability to prioritize tasks and features based on value and feasibility.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to analyze data and identify trends and opportunities.
Ability to guide and influence technical teams.
